Half Irish and half Cherokee, she graduated from Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge in 1997. She wrote for the school's newspaper, writing being something she continues to do today, for magazines (FHM) and writing screenplays for adult films.
Stormy began feature dancing on the road in September of 2000. In May of 2002 she decided to pursue her Adult Film Career in Los Angeles. In September of the same year she signed an exclusive contract with Wicked Pictures. She also appeared in the 2005 film The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
